Heather Waghorn

I have been running HA fitness for nearly 20 years, and I still love my job!

Drawing on my personal passions for running and yoga together with my professional experience as a freelance personal trainer, I'm really enthusiastic about motivating people and creating fun yet effective workouts.

Having successfully completed 3 ultra marathons (including Comrades 90K) & 22 regular marathons, I understand the highs and lows of sticking to an exercise plan, and I use these experiences to encourage others to achieve their goals.

My qualifications cover a wide range of areas including personal training, ante and post natal fitness, ViPR, TRX, sports nutrition, core stability and Boxercise. I’m also a qualified Running Technique and Gait Analysis Coach, BARE Instructor and British Wheel of Yoga Teacher. Most recently, I gained my Mountain Training Lowland Leader qualification.

I love learning and adding new strings to my bow. And I love sharing what I’ve learnt along the way. Whether it’s helping someone move with more ease, feel stronger in themselves, or simply enjoy being active again, there’s nothing better than seeing that spark of confidence grow.
