Sophie Russell
I'm passionate about sports and fitness and consider it a real pleasure to share this with others. I'm a qualified personal trainer, fitness coach and Pilates instructor with a background as a triathlete and runner. I am a mum of 3 and family life is also very important to me. I understand the juggling act that is required in order to find the time to train and also the huge benefits that exercise can bring when it is part of a busy life!
My love of running has led me to take part in numerous marathons and ultra-marathons (including Comrades in South Africa with Heather last year!) and mixing this with swimming and cycling, I enjoy competing in triathlons (from sprints through to Ironman). These have taught me about the importance of training within a framework where the energy is positive and motivation levels are high (and can even be contagious!). I believe that anything is possible if there’s a will to succeed and the right structure is in place.
My qualifications also include ante and post-natal fitness, sports nutrition, Padwork (boxing), TRX and Kettelbells. I am a member of the Register of Exercise Professionals (REP's) at Level 3.
My mission is to make training sessions fun, diverse, motivational and effective.
