With the PM now urging everyone to work from home, we realise some people's schedules are about to change, yet again.
The good news is, HA fitness isn't changing (well for the time being anyway).
If you're working from home, our live online class timetable is designed to fit around your busy working day.
You can join us on Zoom for an energetic HIIT style class at 6.15am, 7am or 9am. Then take a break from your desk for a lunchtime Stretch and Restore or Cardio Pilates session. One evening a week we also have a Cardio Core class, which is not only a fab workout, but a great stress buster too!
If you'd prefer to be outside, we're got 4 Fit In The Park classes a week in South Park Gardens. We’re delighted to say that these sessions will continue to run as they are socially distanced and follow the COVID-19 secure guidelines. They’re also lots of fun too.

We’re back in the park from tomorrow (Thurs 3rd Jan) for some great postnatal workouts with your little ones.
If you’re new to Buggyfit, we meet every Monday and Thursday at the following times:
9.30am in South Park Gardens
11.00am in Wimbledon Park.
We've been running Buggyfit classes in Wimbledon for nearly 13 years now, so we know what we're doing when it comes to getting new mums back into shape again!
We offer FREE taster sessions. And once you've tried us out, you're then welcome to drop-in to any of our classes with no prior booking required. We have a really flexible and reasonably priced class pass system. We have no joining fees or monthly contracts. Perfectly suited for the unpredictable lifestyle of a new mum!

Pilates In The Garden Pavilion - South Park Gardens - Wimbledon
Our next Pilates course starts on Friday in the Garden Pavilion!
Our experienced coach, Sophie, is a BASI qualified Pilates Instructor and Personal Trainer. Her sessions use a series of low-impact exercises to improve your posture, increase muscle tone and reduce stress within your body. These sessions are suitable for all levels.
Time: 11.15am-12.15pm
Place: South Park Gardens – Garden Pavilion – situated at the back of the park, by Kings Road and Dudley Road
Dates: Every Friday morning from the 14th September for 6 weeks.
Cost: £90 for the 6 sessions.
We restrict our numbers to 6 clients, so that Sophie can give you all individual attention. Please note that these sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Here's a quick update about what's going on over the next week or so...
Join us tonight at 7.50pm for our last class at the Holy Trinity School until the Autumn. We'll be back out in the fresh air in South Park Gardens at the earlier time of 7.15pm on Monday 9th April!
All of our classes in South Park Gardens and Wimbledon Park will not be taking place on Good Friday and Bank Holiday Monday.
The good news is, all of our Saturday classes will be running as normal! Here's what we've got planned:

- 9.00am Wimbledon Park with Heather

Last call for HIIT Boot Camp - January 2018!
The lovely Claire is kicking off our first HIIT BootCamp of 2018 in Wimbledon Park tomorrow morning!
If you're still making your mind up about coming, now's the time to throw caution to the wind & commit!
We start tomorrow in Wimbledon Park at 6.15am (finishing at 7.00am).
Training over 5 consecutive mornings, you'll get a full body workout, combining strength, cardio, endurance, core & functional movement. You'll scorch calories & be challenged from head to toe.
But I'm not feeling very fit?
Don't worry. We'll be offering different levels to suit all abilities. Beginners, weekend warriors & serious fitness freaks are all welcome.
What if I can't make every session?
No problem. You can make up a class at one of our regular Fit In The Park classes.
But I don't want to go on my own?
You'll be introduced to all of our Boot Campers on the first day. We'll then work hard to ensure an inclusive, motivating spirit and strong sense of comradeship during the week. It'll be great fun too!

SkiFit BootCamp - Starts Tomorrow!
Get yourself ski-Fit prior to your holiday to ensure you get the most out of your trip, reduce your risk of injury and be more confident on the slopes.
Our Ski-Fit Boot Camp will help you to:
- Strengthen your whole body, with particular focus on the legs and core
- Improve your muscular endurance and stamina

This is a progressive 5-week course, with each session building on what we worked on the previous week.

South Park Gardens - Fit in The Park - Summer's coming, we're outside tonight!
Fit In The Park will be back in the park tonight! It's a fantastic way to start the week. We get a lovely mix of both men & women of all fitness levels coming along.
For those of you who don't know it, South Park Gardens is just a 5 min walk from Wimbledon station. If you're driving, there's free parking in Effra, Faraday & Clarence Roads after 6.30pm (some of the other roads are metered at this time).
So get those trainers on & join us at 7.30pm tonight for some outdoor fitness fun. You can use your HA fitness class passes or drop-in. All details are on our website.

A Good Read For All Our New Mums At Wimbledon Buggyfit
I've just read this great blog article about returning to exercise after a cesarean. It's a good read for all our c section mums, but is also useful for any of our Buggyfit mum's getting back into exercise: Returning To Exercise After A C-Section.
Pregnancy and birth, especially a c-section, and all that twisting and carrying with a baby once it's been born, all take a huge toll on your body and it's important to get back into exercise in a safe and measured way with experts to guide you (even if you think you feel 100% and are desperate to lose your baby weight!!) You are postnatal for a full year after giving birth - this takes into account how long it takes the body to return to a 'normal' state.
With 11 years experience in Wimbledon, we run our Buggyfit classes using 'safe' exercises for our new mum's and offer some advanced/challenging variations for our more experienced Buggyfitters who have exercised with us over a number of months and are ready to pick up the pace a little to see ongoing progress.
We spend a long time planning our sessions so that we can help our post natal ladies rebalance their posture and regain their core strength, lose weight and get fitter - all wile having fun!!
We are experienced in helping ladies with specific post natal issues - diastasis recti, sore joints thanks to relaxin, weak pelvic floor, sleep deprivation to name a few.
We also have some great women's physiotherapists we recommend to any of our ladies who we think may need a little more intensive care to get back to normal and we make sure we help incorporate any physio into our Buggyfit sessions where appropriate.

Wimbledon Buggyfit - Postnatal Fitness Classes
At our Wimbledon Buggyfit classes, we have been coaching SW19 postnatal mums back into shape for the last 11 years. And we’ve got pretty good at it!
Join us with your little one and you’ll get great results through dynamic and effective workouts specifically designed for the postnatal woman. We’ll help you to burn off any unwanted excesses as well as strengthen and tone your whole body.
All of our classes can be adapted to individual needs or fitness levels. You’ll be encouraged to workout at your own level (whether you’re a complete beginner or experienced athlete).
The best thing is, you can bring your baby along with you to enjoy the fresh air and natural surroundings. It’s also a great way to make new friends too!
We’re running FREE TRIAL sessions throughout March. Once you’ve tried us out, you can then either join us on a drop-in basis or purchase one of our class passes (from £6.50 a class), offering you complete flexibility with no joining fee or commitment.

South Park Gardens BootCamp - Last Call!
After kicking off our March BootCamp in Wimbledon Park this week, we're now getting excited about launching our South Park Gardens BootCamp on Monday. Here's all of the info on what we'll be doing and why you should be there.
When And Where Is It?
Our next BootCamp will take place at 6.15 - 7.00am everyday from Monday 6 March through to Friday 10 March. There will also be a bonus/catch-up session at 7.45am on Saturday 11 March.
We'll be training in South Park Gardens, which is a beautiful park just a 5 minute walk from the Broadway in central Wimbledon.
What Will It Involve?
Each session will have a different focus, incorporating both strength and cardio training.
We'll be mainly be following a format of short bursts of exercise, followed by brief rest periods. This is a great way to burn lots of calories. Even during the rest time, your calorie-burning rate will be high!
Just give us everything you've got for 45 minutes, everyday, for 5 days. We'll do the rest.
Who Will Be There?
People like you! We welcome both men & ladies of all abilities to join us. We're happy to motivate and challenge everyone, from those who are just starting on their fitness journey to seasoned athletes.
Everyone at our classes are very supportive of each other and the camaraderie is immeasurable. There's nothing like a tough workout to help people bond!
The HA team will also be there to motivate you and to get the best out of you. Don’t worry, we also want you to enjoy it and have some fun too!
